My future Computer

This laptop you see above is called the Dell Latitude XT3. It run on Intel Core i3, i5 or i7, has a HD webcam, Intel HD Graphics 3000 GPU, also Gigabit Ethernet port, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, optional mobile broadband support, and of course a VGA and HDMI. The beauty of this thing is that it can turn in to a table and it looks sweet. I want one of these for school so I can write note down and not waste paper. From what I've heard about this little guy is that it has good pressure sensitive interface. What that means is that it will know how hard you press down on the screen. I have not found any price for it but keep a look out!

Rango Review.

Today I will be reviewing Rango. I honestly did not want to see this movie when it came out. I thought it was a kiddy movie and it didn't look that appealing to me. However I went over to my friend's house and they decided to play this movie. I must say I was impressed.
Summary: Rango is about this run of the mill chameleon who accidentally ends up in this little town named Dirt; who is in direr need of a sheriff.

Cast: Johnny Depp, Timothy Olyphant,

My Thoughts: This movie is beautiful, ascetically it is great. The sand, the sun, the details on many of the characters were done just awesomely. Very realistically. As for the content of the movie, I must say that it surprised me on how good it ended up being. My standards were really low on this movie but it met them and went a bit above. The humor was very well done the story telling was good the music and cinematography was very well done. It really gave it a classical western feel. One of my grips was that the movie was a bit slow. Too much dialogue for kids I say.
The acting was great. I honestly didn't think that it was Johnny Depp voicing Rango. Johnny Depp really did a great job bringing this character to life. However, my personal favorite character in this movie was Rattlesnake Jake. Very good movie, done very well. Definitely a rental.

Reiteration:
Pros: Visually well done, great acting, good humor, good action.
Cons: Might drag on a bit.
Verdict: Rental.

The Pic3D

I was snooping around and I came across this really interesting device; It is called the Pic3D. The Pic3D is a transparent sheet that one can place on top of a screen (for your tv or mobile phone) and will give it the 3D without glasses effect. So far it only comes for 12.1'', 15.6'', 21.5'' and 23'' screens, and the iPad2 and iPhone. The iPhone version will go for 25 dollars and the 23in will go for 186 dollars. Now the only downside I see is that it will only work if you download this application that is on Global Wave's website. The application comes with a built-in player and even works with some YouTube videos!

Razer Switchblade

Holy crap I found this neato device. I must be slow or something.

This little bugger is called the Razer Switchblade. It has a 7 inch multi-touch display, has dimensions of 172mm x 115mm x 25mm, and the keyboard is full LCD, it is also powered by an Intel Atom 1.7 GHz z690. It also runs on windows 7 and it is made for portable gameplay. I do not know anymore details, and I have never heard of it. I am very interested in this and I will keep track with this and will post an update once I get more information. All I can say not is that it looks awesome.

Stake Land is an interesting movie. It takes place in the United States that has been swept by a vampiric epidemic. It follows this vampire slayer, Mister (Nick Damici) and this young boy, Martin (Conor Paolo) in a journey towards paradise.

My thoughts: This movie was very very interesting. The first thing that separates it from other vampire movies is that they act very much like zombies; which didn't really bother me. The movie, at first, reminded me a lot like Zombieland. It had this apocalyptic feel to it and it even had narration through out the movie. However, as the movie progressed it started to take it's own form. It was a slow start but it took off in a huge fashion. I fell in love with this movie. You can feel the desperation, sadness, and the anger all while keeping you on the edge of your seat. It really put me through a thrill ride.
The acting was great, Nick Damici put quiet  a performance but the person that I think really brought this movie to the forefront was Conor Paolo. Conor Paolo's character brought such a pure innocence to the movie and bounced off great with Nick Damici's character.
There are a few negatives to this movie. You have the zombie-vampires, the movie feels a bit dragged  out, and it doesn't help that a few questions are not answered by the end of the movie. However, overall it was a great movie. I recommend it.

A Thank You Letter

I just wanted to thank everyone that took the time to read my blog post. I didn't think I was going to have such a great time reading so many different blogs about so many interesting topics. I felt like it was going to be work and not really like it but everyone's support really gave me a boost. So to everyone that took the time to respond and read I thank you.

If anyone have any recommendation please feel free to leave a comment in any of my posts and I would definitively take it into consideration and would love to review it.

a SUPER review

For my first review I am going to be reviewing the movie Super. Super is about this average man ( Rainn Wilson) whose wife (Liv Tyler) falls under the influence of a drug dealer (Kevin Bacon). He then transforms himself into Crimson Bolt, a superhero with the best intentions, though he lacks for heroic skills.

My thoughts: When I saw this trailer to Super I was very excited because I have enjoyed many of Rainn Wilson's work. I love him as Dwight from The Office and as various characters in different shows. The trailer made my think this was going to be one of those funny movies that go unnoticed. However was I in for a hell of a surprise. I loved this movie completely it is dark, funny, confusing at times but it was a great ride. They really made me invest emotion into these characters. The best part? The twist they give you. I haven't been this moved by a movie since forever. Liv Tyler did a good job in this movie and was freaking hot as a drug addict. Kevin Bacon was great as always. He just has that bad guy look. Ellen Page was very cute in this movie and her character might not be very one's cup of tea but I think that her character development was great. Over all it was a great movie. Check it out!
